How To Convert Visitors to Leads

Finally, we're getting out of the Internet's noisy adolescent age and into a more thoughtful age, when hype gives way to results and to ROI on all the marketing expenses.

I talked about the impact that Hubspot Marketing has had on all of our thinking in a previous post, so if you missed it, take a look.

In corporate America or Main Street America, no huge deficits can exist; where we can spend without concern for the future. No, here we need to generate traffic aggressively, and just as importantly, convert visitors to leads for our sales teams to pursue, right?

So what's a simple way to do it? Where do we start? There are actually two that may be needed, depending on your situation.

The first may be that you do need to generate more traffic to your site.

The second, perhaps more relevant step to many of my readers is to convert visitors to leads better than you're doing it now.

The 'secret' to this is to offer visitors some useful information that is compelling enough to them, that they'll complete the form on your landing page and download the info.
